Offensive Skills Clinic

Friday, February 13th 

4th-8th Grade

 

9:00 – 12:00 PM

Description:

The Just Hoops Offensive Skills Clinic will challenge players to improve their offensive skill set through a variety of drills, competitions, and live play. The clinic will teach offensive fundamentals such as shooting, passing, and ball-handling, as well as, moving without the ball, proper spacing, and screening principles.

Attack & Finish Clinic

Monday, February 16th

4th-8th Grade

 

9:00 – 12:00 PM

Description:

Expand your offensive role by learning various ways to attack your primary defender & force help-side defenders to collapse. This clinic will break down how to read screens, finish vs. contact, attack closeouts and use your body to create driving lanes. Players will be challenged to win the 1st step, finish with both hands and create contact to create separation.

March

2-Day March Madness Clinic

Description:

The 2-Day Spring Break March Madness Clinic will emphasize skill development focused on ball-handling, finishing & shooting.

 

Players will compete in live-play situations, including real game scenarios to improve their decision making. We will incorporate fun, competitive games to simulate game-like shooting, handling the basketball with pressure, and more!

 

On the second day, players will compete in various competitions for prizes. Coaches will challenge players to use their skills in fun, pressure situations.

April

2-Day Ball Handling & Scoring Clinic

Description:

This clinic is designed to increase players’ skills in the fundamental building blocks of the game. Players will learn drills and concepts that will assist in growing their confidence with stationary dribbling, driving to the rim, & handling pressure.

 

The goal is for players to become a more effective scorer by learning triple threat moves, live-ball moves, finishing techniques, moving without the ball, and decision making. Players will have drills, competitions, and live play to develop and apply these skills.

Spring Skills Clinic

Description:

The Just Hoops Spring Skills Clinic is designed to sharpen every part of a player’s game. Through focused drills, competitions, and live play, athletes will improve their shooting, ball-handling, passing, and overall offensive feel. Players will also learn how to move without the ball, create space, and understand key offensive concepts like spacing and screening. It’s the perfect way to build confidence and stay sharp this spring.
